QuickBooks ACH bank transfer debit payment settlement takes 5 business days to settle to my bank account. Why so long? Any suggestions?

Intuit ACH bank transfers for NO fee which is great but I also heard it sometimes takes 7 days or longer to see actual funds in your bank account. It seems like they get to keep your money for few extra days. In old QuickBooks ACH plan, they used to charge fifty cents fee but it took about 3 days to see funds in your bank account. Some bank also gives ACH for free but they have same day ACH in your bank account as well. So, it’s always great to shop around.

This quote is from QuickBook Help article, click here for more details:
“Notice that ACH is free and, will be marked as free on the invoice. Also note, the first ACH funding could take up to 7 days and has no pre-funding meaning there is no option to make the funding time shorter.”
