From the Left Dashboard > Accounting > Chart of Accounts
Select drop-down arrow (next to View Register for Balance Sheet accounts and Run report for income/expense accounts) and you will EDIT. Change the Account Name as you want.
Note: You can’t edit Account Type and Detail Type in QuickBooks Online.
