It’s simply hard to believe, it is still not possible in the year 2018 to import a file from QBO to QBO. At this time, it is only from QB Desktop to QBO. In other words, export from QBO to QBDT and then export and an adjusted QB desktop company file to a new QBO company. Bear in mind, it’s not a seamless process so expect losses of data along the way. You can also look into Intuit app for a third party vendor for some help but they also go through the same process.

Look in the Intuit app store for a third party vendor. Q2Q, Baystate, etc. The export from QBO is only to the desktop, which you could do, then export an adjusted desktop company to a new QBO. Keep in mind, there may be losses of data along the way
